“Ginger Snap Eye” by Richard F. Yates

[December 2018 – Ink on paper with digital embellishments and color.]

The Ginger Snap Eye drifts through the red skies (at night) clicking into the brains of its victims and snacking on loose fragments of thought. Though a parasite in most senses of the word, the Eye also believes in ethical business practices, purchasing only recycled paper for its inventory records and donating 11 percent of its profits (every month) to the local homeless shelter.

It’ll still eat your brain, if given the chance, but this entity definitely believes in giving back to the community!

  1. I’m sure he’ll enjoy the sugar plums in all the kid’s heads when Christmas Eve rolls around.
