“Let the Swag Flag Wag!” by Richard F. Yates

Friday is upon us… Time keeps on slippin’ slippin’ slippin’… (I was surprised to learn that my Dad didn’t care for the Steve Miller Band. He told me this himself, just a few years before he died. He said that he thought Steve Miller’s music was boring, middle of the road stuff—but he LIKED Ted Nugent, so his opinion takes a serious knock there… You might be wondering if this is relevant to swag and flags, and I would submit that it IS relevant, in a holistic sense. Just ask Dirk Gently!)

[“The way to approach the 21st century is to realize that linear thinking [has] completely collapsed, and we’ve got to think in non-linear modes, like modern art…” said Robert Anton Wilson in his lecture “Preparing for the 21st Century (1988).”]

So it’s a Friday in mid-November, already, (seems like it was just July, doesn’t it?), and it occurs to me that I haven’t uploaded any new images to Redbubble in a while (over a month and a half—although to me it felt MUCH longer,) and so I got to curating and picked eight new pieces to slather on t-shirts, coffee mugs, postcards (THE BEST THINGS,) leggings, pillows, clocks, and so on. Hopefully, you find a few of these amusing!

[I wonder, sometimes, if I’m just an obsessed, no-talent quack with delusions of adequacy couching my lack of ability in a philosophical framework (ie: punk, Dada, anti-art art) to mask the fact that I’m hopelessly doomed to non-commercial oblivion! Nahhh… “Maximum Effort!!!” as Deadpool says…in the films…I’ve never read any of the comics… Although, I probably should… I guess…]

Anyway, on with the freakshow! (I originally typed “freakshop” instead of “freakshow,” and you know what? I kinda like it! ON WITH THE FREAKSHOP!!!)

And that’s it for the new Redbubble stuff. (If, the last time you looked at one of my “swag” posts, you remember that I was posting images to Threadless, too, I’ve stopped doing that. I’ve never had any sales through Threadless, and I was finding it more difficult to post images there than posting to Redbubble—so I quit using Threadless. I’ve been SELLING OUT through Redbubble since January of 2014!)

For those folks who might be wondering if I’m still making CRYPTO-ART, YES I AM!!!! I’m including some images for my three most recent CRYPTO-PRIMITIVE TRADING CARDS below, but to see the ENTIRE CRYPTO-ART catalog, go to my MakersPlace store (where you can not only SEE these things—you can also BUY them!!!):

“Snake Has Plans”

“Laser Chicken vs Tentacles from Space”

“Dancing… (Or Falling…)”

That’s probably enough JUNK for this week (or this month.) If you have any questions, let me know. If you DON’T have any questions, let me know that, too—because there are a great many issues that I would like to understand, and a person with no questions will undoubtedly have a lot of answers!

Okay, move along…
Nothing to see here…
