“Easter Snake” by Heide Monster

I received this FANTASTIC postal art package a few days ago from Heide in Houston, TX, USA.

It came in a sewn fabric envelope with a cool octopod seal!

Heide included a hand written note that explains the snake painting:

“This is a painting of an Easter snake – They bring Eggs to good little monsters but are poisonous if you try to steal their egg.”

I love the snake, and the story makes it even better! In addition, Heide slipped some brain teasers into the envelope!

I used to love trading mail art with folks, and wish that I could participate in the culture more, but postage got to be too expensive, and I’m too broke!

Anyway, THANKS HEIDE!!! The package was appreciated!
