“Magnet Man” by Richard F. Yates

magnet man (2 mar. 2018) by rfy - (peg)

When I was in 2nd grade, (this would have been either 1979 or 1980) I wrote a book called FRUITA THE MONSTER AND FRIENDS for school, and I straight up plagiarized several of the monsters in the book from my Aunt Teresa, who was in high school at the time. She had a few characters that a few friends of hers were working on for some project, and one of them was this magnet guy, who I ripped off for my book. He was pretty easy to draw, just a horseshoe shape with eyes, but I thought he was funny, so I stole the character and put him in my story. And here he is back again…
