“The 5,000th Post – Self Congratulatory Hullaballoo!” by Richard F. Yates

I can’t believe I haven’t gotten bored and moved on to something else yet…

All kidding aside, I’m proud of the fact that we’ve stuck with this project for so long. I’d like to thank all of the GENIUS contributors who have helped to create such an odd site here! I ABSOLUTELY couldn’t have done it without your help and encouragement! And THANKS, OF COURSE, to all you regular readers and viewers who keep stopping by and sharing a laugh with us!

If you’re in the mood, post a comment letting us know WHY you keep coming back! (Maybe you have a favorite post or regular feature that you enjoy? Maybe not…)

Meanwhile, we DO actually have some plans for the future, including:

1. MAKING MORE BOOKS! – The books are fun. I love posting stuff online and truly appreciate the social interactions made possible by this technology, but deep down, I will always love the PHYSICAL artifacts just a bit more than the virtual materials.
2. T-SHIRTS! – We’ve already got a design ready to print—we just need to buy some garments to print on!!!
3. KEEPIN’ ON KEEPIN’ ON! – We do what we do, and we’ll keep posting the fruits of our labors here at the P.E.W. for all you humans (and other entities) to enjoy!

5,000 posts… Wow… That’s a lot…

  1. Michael J. King says:

I have stuck around because I feel the the need to occasionally slap you back down to reality. That I do, for the sake of humanity.
