“Speedy Doodle (Pt. 1 of 2)” by Richard F. Yates

When I’m at work, I occasionally get a few minutes to myself, and because I constantly have a backpack full of recycled cardboard (t.v. diner boxes, cereal boxes, toaster pastery boxes, or other processed food containers) and a handful of permanent markers (never know when you’re gonna need to “mark” somethin’,) I like to do super fast doodles. Sometimes they stay as quick sketches, sometimes they get the acrylic treatment, but whatever happens to them, the fact is this: I HAVE HUNDREDS OF THESE in piles and stacks and boxes all over the house.
